Terms and Conditions
DVR Policy:
Our complete DVR products are designed to work as standalone systems, NOT WORKSTATIONS. Web Surveillance will warrant all merchandise to be free of defect 1-Year from the date of installation* and 30-Days telephone technical support. * Additional telephone and/or onsite technical support is available for purchase and must be purchased at time of original contract. Any software and/or hardware alterations to the system will VOID ALL WARRANTIES by Web Surveillance any complete DVR system requiring service will incur an hourly bench charge if the system has been altered from its original hardware and/or software configuration.
Warranty:
All Products and Workmanship are warranted for 1-Year from date of installation, with 2 exceptions,
- Damage Due to Act of Nature, (Thunderstorm, Power Surge, Dust, Liquid, Fire, Etc.)
- Damage Due to Act of Vandalism, (By anyone including but not limited to owners, employees, neighbors, deliberate and/or accidental)
Manufacturer's employees or representatives' ORAL AND/OR OTHER WRITTEN STATEMENTS DO NOT CONSTITUTE WARRANTIES, shall not be relied upon by Buyer, and are not part of the contract for sale or this warranty.
Entire Obligation: This Limited Warranty states the entire obligation of Manufacturer with respect to the Products. If any part of this Limited Warranty is determined to be void or illegal, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances are we liable for the following: (1) third-party claims against you for damages; (2) loss of, or damage to, your person or property; or (3) economic consequential damages (including lost profits or savings) or incidental damages even if we are informed of their possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
Payment Due:
A 50% Down Payment is due prior to installation, and the balance is due upon completion of installation. For legal purposes, authorized signer(s) on contract must be the Property/Business Owner.You agree to pay as specified and agreed upon on the contract. All equipment sold and/or installed and by Web Surveillance are the property of Web Surveillance until a its PAID IN FULL.
Pricing:
For all prices and products, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. Web Surveillance is not responsible for manufacturer price changes which may occur at any time without notice.
Audio Recording:
Most audio recording without consent of one and/or all parties is illegal. Recording audio is very different from video. Federal and state laws prohibiting surreptitious recording and monitoring of audio conversations. These laws are taken very seriously by authorities and failure to abide by them could result in severe consequences.
Dynamic IP:
Web Surveillance has an optional Dynamic IP solution for customers without Static IP. Please ask your sales representative for prices and availability.
Tips:
1 frame per second is the lowest frame rate recordable and 30 frames per second (real time) is the maximum. There is no real need to record in real time unless there are regulatory reasons, as in case of government facilities or casinos. Recording at 1 frame per second is what traditional analog systems record. You can always rewind in high speed so the lower the frame rate the faster it is to playback an entire day. At 3 - 5 frames per second recording, you will not miss any activity (remember this is per second).
